My calling to be a teacher has lead me to bring yoga into the lives of thousands of people from all walks of life. I have worked with with children, teens, elders, disabled adults, and homeless. My teaching focuses on calming the mind and improving your physical well-being by providing you with tools that can be integrate into your daily life. Classes are not a fixed level -they are customized to meet the needs and desires of whomever is there. I believe that the path to health, prosperity, and joy is within each of us. The practice of Yoga and Meditation simply removes the obstacles so we can be out true and authentic selves.

In addition to public classes in Berkeley and the East Bay, I offer yoga therapy sessions and work with students individually as a meditation coach.

“Prior to becoming a novice counselor I have always advocated for self-care. I reached a point in my life filled with stress and realized I need to practice what I preached. I knew my spiritual journey would be the ultimate challenge and that I needed help to improve my meditation skills. The universe spoke and brought me to Vlad’s website. I can honestly say that becoming one of his meditation students has been a honor. Every session with Vlad teaches you how to take a personal journey where you find out more about yourself. Everyday I’m learning to love more, accept life, and give gratitude. Thank you for this remarkable experience and continued help.” Victoria T.

“Vlad’s yoga classes have been a coming home experience for me. They remind me of taking classes with my first yoga teacher, who knew how to create an environment that was the perfect balance between physical challenge and deep acceptance of the present. Until taking Vlad’s class, I had yet to find another teacher that created such an open and supportive environment. I would describe his style as flexible and engaged.” Alex J.

“My meetings with Vlad give me something calming and stabilizing to look forward to in my chaotic life.  Speaking with him is like speaking to a calmer, simpler, and more compassionate self, and reminds me of my own capacity to provide those same gifts to myself.” Darryl N.
